Built so you can rank
where AI looks.
ChatGPT doesn't search the web the way humans do. When you ask it a question, it silently rewrites your question into 3–8 different Bing sub-queries, scans dozens of websites, and synthesizes an answer.
None of that is visible to you. None of it is captured by Google Analytics. None of it shows up in DataForSEO or Ahrefs or Semrush. Yet for every brand, agency, and content team building for the "GEO" era, this hidden layer is the entire game.
DataforGEO exists to expose that layer.
We built a Chrome extension that — with the user's consent — pulls the hidden sub-queries directly from ChatGPT's own backend API after a search completes. That data flows into our database. The more people contribute, the richer the database becomes.
Every keyword you search on this site is backed by real conversations, not estimates or scraped Google results. This is how AI search actually behaves, captured at the source.
The extension reads ChatGPT's own conversation API, the same one ChatGPT itself uses. No HTML parsing, no estimates.
Submissions carry a random device ID — no name, email, or ChatGPT account info. Opt-out anytime in Settings.
Aggregated data is searchable by anyone, free. Premium tiers add brand tracking, alerts, and exports.
